Write about some other items you discussed as you read this book. Were there parts you agreed or disagreed on? Did you have further questions or things your wondered about?

We disscussed the fact that Gabe is whtie, Frita is black and they are friends in the year 1976 and they live in the South.  Also we disscused that we thought it would be interesting to figure out how these 2 would get liberated.  Another thing we disscused was how we thought they lived in Mississippi, but then it mentioned that Gabe's mom made the best corn bread in all of Georgia.  So those were the types of disscusions we had.

Me and Brendan discussed a lot of things in the book. The first thing we talked about was where Gabe and Fritado  live?  We found out that they lived in Georgia.

   Another thing we discussed was why doesn't Gabe want to
go to fifth grade.  We knew that Gabe was afraid to go to the fifth grade.

   We also talked about why does Frankie and Duke always bully Gabe and Frita.  We figured out that they bullied Gabe and Frita because they wanted to be like them.

    I wonder how Gabe ended up liking fifth grade.  I wonder if Frankie and Duke ever stopped bullying Frita and Gabe.
